5th Annual Youth in the Fire Service Training 

For Rams, Juniors & Explorers

Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 7:30am to 4:00pm

at the St. Lawrence County Fire Training Center in West Potsdam

The St. Lawrence County Fire Chiefs Association (SLCFCA); Firefighters Association of the State of New York (FASNY); and Northern New York Volunteer Firemen’s Association (NNYVFA) will be hosting their 6th Annual Youth in the Fire Service Day on Saturday, August 22nd. This event is put on to give Junior Firefighters, RAMs, and Explorers, hands-on experience. The event is meant to continue their interest in being firefighters and provide important hands-on training.
